Statesman and entrepreneur Benjamin Franklin believed in re-defining himself as often as necessary to adapt and succeed. This is just one of the reasons he is on my list as a hero I admire.

People I admire (in no particular order):
Benjamin Franklin – Ambassador Franklin was a genius and a leader. Among his nearly countless contributions, one of my favorite is his self-improvement methodology. He focused on the traits that he valued most, and worked daily on bettering himself.
Jesus Christ – My Savior, my older brother, and the one in whom I entrust all things is the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is the perfect example and the one I hope most to be like in all I do. One trait of Jesus that I love is that He is true to His word; He is perfectly reliable.
My Dad – Captain Raymond E “Gene” Haines was the second most imperfect man I’ve ever met. He was also one of the hardest working, devoted and dedicated, and humble men I have ever known. I hope to be something like the gentle giant that he was.
